Yesterday we reported on Capcom selling a defective discounted season pass for the new episodic game, Resident Evil Revelations 2. Though since last reporting on the matter, there have been reports of denied refunds and missing purchases by those affected.
Capcom is selling broken season passes for their newest episodic Resident Evil game (Resident Evil Revelations 2). The passes which are accessible in episode one's built in PSN store, cost $19.99 USD and promise to delver the rest of Revelations 2's episodes. Instead all the purchase does is unlock a HUNK skin for the game's optional Raid Mode and take up 1.1 megabits on the customers hard drive. Affected customers have been trying to contact Capcom and Sony since March 3rd for a fix and have for the most part been given little help in the matter. Linked below is the sony help thread discussing the issue for those interested.

A scandal has erupted around Zoe Quinn, the creator of the indie darling Depression Quest. Around the time of it’s release, it was was lauded by critics as a interesting think piece about depression and provided a great way to empathize with those who do suffer. The current scandal involving Zoe however has nearly nothing to do with her talent for making games, or her initial breakout hit. Instead it involves rather nasty accusations by her ex-boyfriend on an angry blog post.
There is a opinion about weapons that many people love to throw around which is this, never carry a weapon, be it a gun or knife, for self protection unless you’re willing to use it. A prime example of this is Salman Rushdie, a famous author, who had a Fatwa declared on him for running a fowl of Iran’s religious sensibilities. A Fatwa for those that don’t know is essentially religiously motivated hit and Rushdie had to live under for ten years between 1988 and 1998. For his safety Rushdie was placed under the protection of the British government. In an interview with Bill Maher, Rushdie mentioned how he was offered firearms training so he would be able to shoot an attacker. Rushdie however explained that he had denied the offer, citing a version of the opinion stated above
Recently the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States lost a case in the US court of appeals to Verizon over Net Neutrality. This means that Net Neutrality in the United States is effectively dead and buried unless the Supreme Court were to overturn the ruling. Which, I’m sorry to break it to you seems extremely unlikely since the Supreme Court rarely if ever has rules against corporate interests. This is a decision that could set new media and consumer choice in how they consume media back years.
